Jambrean Studios is the combined efforts of two of the East coasts most talented model makers, Brian Bollinger and Jim Harr. Brian, along with his wife Jill, are the proprietors of BEST Trains of Belmont, NH. Formed in 1996, BEST specializes in manufacturing and distributing HO scale (1:87) laser-cut and cast resin kits of historical structures. Brian, a 1991 graduate of College Eastern Nazarene College, also specializes in graphic and web design, and video production. Jim, a graduate of Pratt Institute (Industrial Design, 1986), has been a professional model maker since 1986, specializing in both product design as well as architectural model making under the Benchmark Productions banner. Jim also runs Stella Scale Models, also a manufacturer of scale structure kits. With their combined 40 years of experience manufacturing scale architectural models, Brian and Jim are well poised to handle any project. With two fully equipped shops, they proudly specialize in recreating historical architecture, from the plain corner store to President John Quincy Adams' home. They offer complete model making services, from CAD design through finished, ready-to-display works. Laser-cutting, metal and resin casting services, machining, foam cutting, cabinet making, scenic art, lighting and electronics are but a few of the comprehensive production services we offer.
